Now that you know why, where and what trees to plant, it is important to know how to plant them. This can be done through Meer Bomen Nu’s method of replanting surplus saplings in locations where they are most needed.

 

Since the Meer Bomen Nu campaign is fully based on the help of volunteers, it is fundamental to involve the local community in the planting of young trees. This could be initiated through both conducting social research with the local public or consulting various neighbourhood organisations, such as housing associations or schools. The list below highlights several suggestions across different levels to help implement the planting of desired tree species identified in the previous step.
