THE FINAL PROTOTYPE
Through an iterative process of experimentation, co-creation sessions, interviews and literature research, we have come to our final prototype. This prototype represents a 3D establishment structure made from Re-plex, ready to be used in nature restoration projects. The design is modular and customizable according to predetermined project goals. For example, if the goal is to restore a specific species, the design should be adjusted to the habitat requirements of the predetermined target species.
THE GUIDE BOOK
The book serves as a guide for successful aquatic ecosystem restoration projects using the Re-plex prototype. It includes motives, market potentials, possible target species, and finally, a roadmap.
The roadmap is a step-by-step process that details key decisions needed for planning and executing a successful project. The roadmap is customized for projects using the Re-plex material in an ecological establishment structure.
