At the beginning of our living lab, we focussed on setting a goal for our living lab. Where some other living labs already had a clearly defined scope, goal or outcome, we were presented with a very open question: What do you want to do?

After several brainstorm sessions, discussions and conversations with our case owner, we agreed on the following mission: ‘Co-creating a socio-technical, interactive product & process in ARTIS that inspires and empowers circular behaviour.’

We made an educated guess that we would be doing so by looking at waste in ARTIS, and figuring out a sustainable method through which we could use this waste to complete our mission.
